The Top 3 Vitamins for Healthy Skin
Introduction
When it comes to skincare, a balanced diet rich in essential nutrients can work wonders for promoting a radiant complexion. Among the many nutrients that contribute to skin health, vitamins play a crucial role. In this blog post, we'll explore the top three vitamins that are renowned for their positive impact on skin health, helping you achieve that coveted healthy glow from within.
Vitamin A: The Renewal Facilitator
Vitamin A, often referred to as retinol in skincare products, is integral to the skin's renewal process. It supports cell turnover, ensuring that new, healthy skin cells replace old, dull ones. This renewal process helps maintain skin's texture and reduces the risk of clogged pores, acne, and uneven skin tone. Vitamin A is also known for its ability to stimulate collagen production, contributing to smoother, plumper skin. However, it's important to note that excessive intake of vitamin A can lead to adverse effects, so it's best to consume it through foods like sweet potatoes, carrots, and leafy greens, or as directed by a healthcare professional.
Vitamin C: The Radiance Booster
Vitamin C, also known as ascorbic acid, is a powerful antioxidant that offers a wide range of benefits for your skin. It's a key player in collagen production, a protein that gives skin its firmness and elasticity. By promoting collagen synthesis, vitamin C helps maintain skin's youthful appearance and reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Additionally, vitamin C's antioxidant properties protect the skin from harmful free radicals generated by factors such as UV radiation and pollution. This protection aids in preventing premature aging and maintaining an even skin tone. Foods rich in vitamin C include citrus fruits, strawberries, bell peppers, and leafy greens.
Vitamin E: The Skin Defender
Vitamin E is another potent antioxidant that works in synergy with vitamin C to safeguard the skin from oxidative stress. It helps protect the skin's lipid barrier, which is essential for locking in moisture and maintaining hydration. This vitamin also assists in reducing the harmful effects of UV radiation on the skin, thus contributing to a more youthful complexion. Additionally, vitamin E supports wound healing and minimizes the appearance of scars and blemishes. Nuts, seeds, spinach, and avocados are excellent dietary sources of vitamin E.
Conclusion
While a consistent skincare routine is essential for maintaining healthy skin, what you put into your body can have an equally profound impact. The trio of vitamins C, E, and A are key players in supporting skin health, each contributing to a specific aspect of a radiant complexion. Incorporating a variety of nutrient-rich foods into your diet ensures that you're giving your skin the vitamins it needs to thrive. Remember, a holistic approach that combines proper nutrition, hydration, skincare, and sun protection will provide the best results for achieving and maintaining beautiful, healthy skin.

Tugging on Sparkstrings
TfP! Starscream x Male!human!reader Oneshot
Summary: The 3 times you said thank you to Starscream and the first time he did the same. WC: 3909
A/N: A gift for @sunlightera and beta'd by @staijey-the-creator Hope you all enjoy!!
Starscream missed the time before Megatron returned; three solar cycles surely wasn’t a long time for any Cybertronian, but the comeback of his “Master” made that time feel all that much shorter. A few months ago, he thought he had finally been rid of the merciless warlord after ripping that slagging shard of dark energon out of his chassis, but after the Autobot scum had tampered with his master’s frame, Megatron had come back to, and Starscream had payed for it dearly. And of course there’s the… newest addition of the Nemesis. A human who Knockout had picked up on one of his racing jaunts- only allowed to stay because Knockout was having a difficult time after the loss of his partner and he was apparently useful in the laboratory.
Starscream would never admit to it outloud, but he rather enjoyed your company.
You never failed to make the mech’s derma quirk upwards whenever he had to visit Knockout for a repair; something he’s fallen into the habit of doing far more often since he had gotten to know you.
“Well where is he?” Starscream scoffed, rolling his eyes when the resident doctor told him you were off ship for the day, his talons tapped at the medical slab beneath him while his legs were examined. He had reported to Knockout that he felt something jostling in his lower right leg, near his pede.
“I sent him to get more supplies, my inventory is running low.” Knockout raised an optical ridge and gave the lieutenant a once over. Slowly, a smirk formed on his face as he dropped Starscream’s leg, “Y’know… if I didn’t know any better, I’d start believing you missed the fleshy.”
“What preposterous- how could you- Why would you-” Starscream sputtered, not knowing how to cover his aft.
“You want to know how I know?” Knockout stood to his full height, servos on hips.
“...” Starscream didn’t acknowledge Knockout further, other than glancing at him.
“Because you only ever come in here for superficial things, like buffable dents or small pebbles somewhere in your frame. If you cared for your frame like I do,” Knockout gestured to his, probably freshly, buffed frame as he spoke, “then I might be willing to believe your supposed reasons for coming into my lab near daily, but considering you’re the same mech who left this same lab looking an absolute mess a few months ago, I’ve come to the conclusion that a sudden interest in cosmetics is not what ails you.”
Starscream sat absolutely shell shocked at the medic’s word, not sure how to proceed. The doctor had called his proverbial bluff, and he was undeniably embarrassed to have feelings for a squishy, but he wasn’t expecting what came from Knockout next,
“I’d tell him.”
“What?!”
“Oh please. You’re his favorite patient to help with. Why delay the inevitable? Now get out of my lab with your nonexistent rattling pebble, I’ve got actual things to do.” And just like that, Starscream was practically pushed out of the lab, the whooshing of the door behind him solidifying that their conversation was over.
After another moment of just standing in front of the door like a scraplet had just eaten half his processor. He started moving down the halls aimlessly, an occasional grumble escaped him about Knockout having his helm hit too many times on the battlefield. It was a quiet day on The Nemesis, Megatron was out checking on the energon mines- a job he no longer trusted to Starscream considering the last time he had hidden some away in an abandoned mine.
“Oh! Starscream!”
Scrap.
“Good afternoon! I hate to bother you, are you busy?” Screamer looked down to see you looking back up at him with a smile, a rare sight coming from anyone else on the ship. Normally, if anyone had asked him his business, Starscream would snap at them to mind their own, but he found himself weak to their gentle nature around the ship. It was nice… especially after a meeting with Megatron. “You don’t have to help, if you’re busy. This stuff is just a bit heavy.”
He snapped out of the thoughts going on in his processor and focused back on the human. The man held about five, large bags of different auto supplies, though it’s likely all high-grade polish for that pompous medic. Starscream leans down to take something from you.
“I can spare some time, just this once… human.”
You handed the giant mech three of the bags, bags that look so small and insignificant once they were put in his servos. You both noticed the difference, a small chuckle was drawn from you, the ridiculousness of the situation being anything but subtle. The absence of weight from the bags Starscream took allowed a spring to be put back into your step.
Once you both reach Knockout’s lab, Starscream put down the bags, not wanting Knockout to make another comment about Starscream craving your attention. He glanced back down at you, his arms crossing over his chassis, “Next time let me know if you need help once you get back on the ship. I shouldn’t have to find you struggling in the hallways.”
You raised an eyebrow, a smile still on your face, “Good to know you’re so flexible with your schedule.”
Starscream found himself sputtering for the second time that day. It felt like everyone was determined to sass him one way or the other. He huffed and started his way down the hall, before hearing you call out to him again. His wings flicked, his anxiousness to get away before his vents turned on increasing by the nanoklik.
“What is it?”
“Thank you for helping me.” Your smile is the last thing Starscream saw before you lugged all of the bags through the doorway, all while fussing at Knockout to carry his own polish from now on.
Whirrrrrrr.
The sound of Starscream’s fans filled the hall, which pushed him to get to his habsuite to cool off his warmed frame as soon as possible. His derma formed a smile, his spark undeniably loved the way you said a simple ‘thank you’ by the way it tugged.
* * * * * *
“This is the second time in the past two decacycles that he has been missing from your lab, doctor. I suggest that you get your assistant in check before Lord Megatron deems him an unnecessary entity on this ship!” Starscream slammed a fist down on one of Knockout’s tables, an act that drew an unimpressed look to the medic’s face. Breakdown spared a glance from his place cleaning and organizing Knockout’s surgical and torture instruments, but he was decidedly too interested to participate in Starscream’s temper tantrum.
“Unstick your wings, Starscream, Y/n wasn’t feeling great today, so he is resting in his room, something that was already reported to our master, not that he paid the notice much care.” Knockout’s rolled optics return to their previous task at making sure the surgical-saw he was cleaning before he spoke again, “Feel free to visit him if you finally plan on doing something about your two’s mutual tension. At this point, I’ll be happy with whatever will light a fire under your aft and get you moving.”
“You’re out of line, Knockout! That human is nothing but a pest that doesn’t belong here in the first place. I would be more than happy to cease hearing him regard me so informally and treat me as if I am some friend.” The doctor moved his eyes from his superior and towards the ground behind him, not that Starscream noticed as he continued to rant, “I care about that irritating human as much as I do about whatever brand of polish you’ve deigned good enough from this disgusting planet- and to squish any unsightly, absurd theories you have come up with- is very little!” Starscream came within inches of Knockout’s frame and brought a talon to his chassis, the scowl on his face very much so prominent. “And I-”
“Well then…”
The energon coursing through Starscream went cold at the sound of your voice reaching his audials. Starscream whipped around, coming eye to optic with your scathing glare. You didn’t appear to be in the best of conditions- donning an oversized hoodie and sweats, a blanket wrapped around your shoulders, and a thin sheen of sweat marked your brow. Knockout “cleared” his throat to garner your attention, the sound forced you to finally break eye contact with the Second-in-command of the Decepticons, who also turned, hoping the doctor might help him out of the problem of his own creation. “I’m surprised to see you out of your room, Y/n. You looked downright debilitated a couple of cycles ago. Still do, really.”
“Yeah, well, I was finally able to choke down some saltines, and I was hoping I could borrow some of Breakdown’s time to get me some soup?” You looked up to the orange-faced mech who, upon seeing your weary form, gave you a grin and a nod.
“Sure thing, little man, we can go now, if you’d like.”
“Thank you.”
Breakdown made his way to you, scooped you up into a servo, and lifted you to his shoulder, like he normally does when you both would go out for supplies or recon. The door to the lab opened and Breakdown nearly began to speed down the halls before you tapped his shoulder with your knuckles to get him to pause. You turned around to face Starscream with one last smile, “And thank you for finally voicing your feelings, Sta- sir. I’ll be sure to address you appropriately from now on. We’ll see you in a little bit, Knockout.”
And without further ado, Breakdown and you passed through the doorway, your large friend having already sent Soundwave a message about needing a groundbridge. Knockout’s expression had shifted throughout the interaction, moving from unimpressed to disdain.
“If you’re done insulting my assistant, I’d appreciate it if you wouldn’t further sully my lab with your presence… Fragging idiot.”
Shoved out of the medical bay for the second time in two decacycles, and it was the second time that it tugged against his protoform- only this time it was undeniably painful.
* * * * * *
A week or so later, you finally felt better, though you could admit to wanting to stay in your makeshift home on The Nemesis in order to avoid the lanky lieutenant who often stalked the halls, seemingly to avoid his own work. However, you couldn’t leave Knockout and Breakdown hanging, especially when they both have put their necks on the line for you to be allowed to live in this place- no matter how embarrassed you may be if forced to face the mech you’ve been fawning over for the past couple of months, only to be harshly pulled back to reality by said mech’s vehement speech on how your company is undesirable, to say the least.
You felt a little ridiculous peeking around corners before fully committing to the turn, but once you made it to the lab without incident, other than greeting Steve with a good morning, the ridiculous feeling melted away into feeling vindicated instead. “Good morning to my favorite Decepticons.”
“Welcome back, for a moment I thought we were going to have to ask Megatron for a splinter of his “good stuff” if you weren’t back for another solar cycle or so.” Knockout smirked and Breakdown chuckled, working on something with his frame.
“Eugh, I’d rather you let me stay dead.” The idea of Big M’s equivalent to a purple crystal meth being anywhere near your skin, let alone inside of you sent shivers down your spine. Having given the room a look, you noticed nothing looked different, not surprising since it hadn’t been too long. You sat in a little chair Breakdown had created for you and gave yourself a little spin, “So what have you got for me to do today? I’m sure there are some things that smaller hands are needed for.”
Knockout and Breakdown looked at each other before they gave you their attention again and then went back to looking at each other with their expressions flickering here and there. The two of them were obviously using their telepathic thing, trying to figure out what exactly to say to you.
“Guys, just give it to me straight, what’s going on?”
“Well, S-”
“Starscream has been coming by everyday looking for you, and Megatron has taken notice. The Lieutenant has been instructed to meet Lord Megatron on the landing strip, and we have been warned there may be… upkeep following their meeting.” Breakdown started off fast, as if trying to rip the bandage off, only slowing when he basically admitted Megatron was blatantly admitting he was giving Starscream another round of punishments for insubordination.
You may not be happy with Starscream and his lack of tact, but your care for him didn’t evaporate over the course of a few days, so the news of him receiving a beating once again only filled you with dread.
“Well, we’ll care for him no differently than usual. His medical needs will be met by all of us… if he deems it alright.”
“He’s not the chief medical officer of this vessel last I checked, so whether he likes it or not, I will be using both of my assistants if it so pleases me.” He crossed his arms over his chassis and his smirk began to lean towards the mad scientist look, “And if he raises a fuss, I have more than enough anesthesia to keep him down during any procedures.”
“Cool it, doc. I doubt he’ll have too much to say after his ‘meeting’.” You used air quotes, not having wanted to fully believe that Starscream would once again be beaten within an inch of his life, but knew it was inevitable if he had been neglecting his job like Breakdown said. As if on cue, the lab doors opened and Starscream’s body was tossed in, like he was some after thought. His frame was dented, scratched, and marred dramatically- it resembled what Knockout told you of the punishment Starscream received when Megatron had finally been revived from his stasis.
“I trust you all will get our Second-in-Command back in working order quickly.” His hulking figure showed no signs of having just brutally harmed and dragged Starscream through the halls, “And doctor, I would recommend ensuring your pet’s knowledge on the need for productivity on my ship, and that it understands consequences.”
And with that, the leader of the Decepticons was gone.
“Alright, Screamer, let’s get you back up and running. Y/n, get your gloves- I can see small bits further in his frame than I can reach.” Knockout lifted Starscream’s limp frame, with Breakdown’s help, and put him on one of the medical berths. He turned around and can tell you haven’t moved an inch, your eyes glued to the unconscious mech. “Y/n, move. This isn’t the worst state you’ve seen a con in.”
“...Right.” You moved quickly to get your supplies, purely through muscle memory.. Ladders that were installed throughout the ship, but primarily the lab, helped you climb your way up to Starscream’s side. His visage was hard to take in, to say the least. Logically, you knew with Knockout’s expertise and perfectionism when it comes to his work, Starscream would be fine, but seeing the mech that you have fallen for, no matter how unrequited, unconscious and possibly struggling to keep his spark brought tears to your eyes. You kept your head down, no desire to look at your friends, and lower yourself into his chassis after Knockout removes the plating in your way, “Let’s get this over with.”
You hadn’t been in Starscream’s chassis like this before; his spark chamber glowed bright and strong, bringing an ease to your own heart. A shake of your head took your attention from the beautiful gleam of Starscream’s spark and back to the task at hand. Pieces of small metal littered the inside of his frame, so you got to work- each piece picked up carefully, not wanting to nick any circuits or vital points. You took one last look at the entrancing light before telling Knockout to help you up and out of the Starscream’s chassis.
“Knockout, let me know when you’re done with everything and are willing to go over his aftercare procedures when we’re on rotation.” Without waiting for a response, you left the lab, too caught up in your own thoughts to stay. The halls were quiet.
_____________________________
Knockout had messaged you a few hours ago that Starscream was in a stable condition and he and Breakdown had to go for energon scouting. You responded back, acknowledging that you would look over the lieutenant in the meantime. And so, you had been looking over the mech who has yet to wake up for an hour or so.
You settled next to his frame, knowing if something went awry with his status, being anywhere else may make the difference between him staying as healthy as possible and a sudden decline. With a book opened on the datapad Soundwave had generously crafted especially for you, you try to focus on the words on the screen, but keeping your eyes from flicking to Starscream was near impossible.
“You’re a fragging idiot, y’know…” You snapped at the non-responsive frame, the datapad abandoned on the medical berth before you stood and began pacing, “A primus-damned idiot! Inconsiderate! Self-involved! A downright misleading, conniving aft!”
In the midst of your yelling, tears started forming in the corners of your eyes and in a moment of rage, you harshly kicked the servo you stood by. You plopped back down with a groan and reclined your back so it met the berth, legs swung over the side, moving back and forth, “We sound like a bad joke- a robot-lover and a robot who hates him walk into a bar.”
Your laugh was dry.
“I lied.”
“Ah!” You sat up quickly and would have fallen right off the edge of the berth had Starscream not grabbed you by the collar of your shirt. Being lifted onto his chassis, his optics haven’t met yours, but he did grant you a couple of glances before he put his helm back and returned his optics to the ceiling. “What the hell, Starscream?! You scared the shit out of me!”
“Well, excuse me for attempting to clear the air- something I have in fact been trying to do for the past several solar cycles, for your information.” He didn’t move. In fact, he was oddly still in comparison to his normal gesticulations.
“The air wouldn’t have needed clearing if you had just told me you didn’t want me around to begin with.”
“I wasn’t aware that you went deaf in your time avoiding me- I lied, Y/n. Your company is- well, I mean you’re-... it doesn’t matter. What matters is that I lied about not enjoying your presence.” His optics flicked back and forth and to anywhere else that would keep you out of his vision.
“If this is your idea of an apology, you can-” You stopped and quickly crawled up the remainder of his chest plating and pulled on his chin, so he would finally face you, “You used my name.”
“What’s your point?” His eyes still occasionally flit away, easily giving away his embarrassment.
“You’ve never called me by my name. It’s always just been human or fleshy.” A smile, though small, graced your features, and Starscream felt that tug on his spark that he had been missing for weeks. After what he said in front of you, he supposed he had the subconscious fear he would never see that smile again. It was nice to see, comforting even. “Thank you.”
That stole Starscream’s attention, his optics looking into your big eyes, “Why in Primus’ name are you thanking me?”
“Well, I’ll admit your apology sucks, but the effort was there… besides, if I held on to every bad thing said to me on this ship, I’d lose my mind. Knockout isn’t exactly the easiest mech to get along with, and he and Breakdown are good friends now.” You gave him an awkward smile and shrug.
“...What now?” Starscream quirked an optical ridge. While you were forgiving, he couldn’t believe you would just let everything go.
“For now, recharge. We can talk more about this when you’ve just woken up from a royal beating from your megalomaniac boss.” You lied down, emotionally exhausted from the past few days. The relief Starscream’s words granted you also apparently left you ready to sleep. Your comment on the leader of the Decepticons drew a tired chuckle from the mech beneath you as you both finally fell asleep in each other’s comfort.
* * * * * *
“Wake up, Starscream.” You smile, pulling on one of his digits. He cracks an optic open, looking down to your form, hair still mussed from sleep. Seeing him awake, you climb up his frame and sit yourself on his Decepticon brand.
“That’s not my designation to you.” Starscream sneers, closing his optic and feigning going back into a recharge. “Try again, human.”
“Lieutenant?” You hum, bringing a finger up to tap your chin in mocking thought.
“Wrong.”
“Screamer?”
That got his attention, his optics opening and narrowing down at your smaller form, “You spend too much time with that imbecile doctor.”
“An imbecile doctor who had to kick us out of his lab at one point because someone couldn’t stop exaggerating his symptoms to get attention from his nurse, Starlight.” You lean down to press a kiss against his chin, finally using your name for him, smile widening to a grin when you see his own spreading across his derma.
“I have no idea what you could be talking about. The rocks on this planet easily stick in my frame, so I require additional attention.” Starscream brings a servo to your back, rubbing a digit up and down.
“Oh, is that so? Is that why you’ve stolen me away from the lab, so I can be your personal nurse?” Your laugh rings through the habsuite and Starscream’s chuckle reverberates beneath his chassis where you sit.
“Perhaps.”
Reflecting on the relationship between you and your seeker, you can’t believe where you both were a couple of months ago in comparison to now- the spat between you both long settled after a lengthy conversation. After a day or so of caring for Starscream in the lab, Knockout had discharged him for monitoring in his habsuite, tired of having to hear the two of you going coyly back and forth. Megatron didn’t seem to care, just as long as Starscream doesn’t stand in the way of his plans. You’re snapped out of your reminiscing after a moment,
“Thank you.” His optics, no longer feigning sleep, look down to you with such warmth, a look you return but with furrowed brows and a slightly dampened smile. Your hands cup Starscream’s face to bring it into better view.
“Now, what are you thanking me for?”
“For forgiving me… for loving me.”
“Thank you for letting me.” With a kiss on his derma, you get comfortable on his chest and close your eyes, “I changed my mind, maybe we should stay in, at least for a bit.”
“Sounds good to me, spark tugger.”

May I request Todoroki family with a reader with a birthmark /port wine stain on their face? I feel like they’d be smothered even further (the reader can also joke about getting free laser surgery cause when that shit happens it smells like burning flesh (a jab at Dani lmao))
Portwine stain used to be my fav topic ever. Like you could ask me anything in pathology and I don't think I'd remember it, but someone even hints at it and ID KNOW WE'RE TALKING ABOUT PORTWINE STAIN cause like the moment I saw pictures of it on patients, I was like "?????? How is the name so ACCURATE????"
So with Todoroki fam, I think their reaction is mostly based on how you feel about your skin. So, if you're like more confident and rip anyone a new one if they try to bully you, they're also gonna treat you very normally (except maybe Rei). But if you're insecure about your face, then they're just gonna baby you to the max as well. Rei is always cooing and going over the top with compliments "aww baby, you're always beautiful in my eyes! You're like a pretty princess! I'm your mother, I would never lie!"
Enji mostly tries to encourage you with few but deep words, something along the lines of "beauty always fades away. It's what on the inside what matters. Make yourself so skillful and abled that you don't allow this to be a barrier between you and opportunities. I'll always support you." And obviously, he'd pay bucks if you want to remove this stain/mark.
Natsuo again, using his few years experience as a medical professional or as a med student will try to comfort you like a psychiatrist and also bring in derma creams and ointments that's ij research phases and not easily accessible to the general population.
Fuyumi again, coddles you but less patronising than Rei. She does want you tell her all about it, whether if someone said something even slightly mean to you, so that she can tattle to Dabi about it and he can "deal" with the person.
Shotou is the most indifferent to it. Like there isn't much difference to how he'd react if you didn't have this mark. He's still as attention deprived as ever and he's still sticking by your side, and maybe deep down, he might even feel closer to you now that you have a portwine stain/birthmark on your face.
Dabi... well, ofcourse his first reaction is to tease you about it, relentlessly. But if youre actually super insecure about your looks, then he's also the one who's super understanding and helpful. Like he finds you crying as you look at yourself in the mirror, he just sighs and walks over before breaking the mirror and engulfing you in a hug. Probes very carefully until you confess to him that someone said something very awful to you.
He comforts you, makes you his signature marshmallow hot chocolate and then pays a visit to said bully and like.... mutilates them very badly, beyond recognition, but still keeps them alive so that they get to live through the agony and dilemma you do on the daily.

Something happens and Drift becomes Deadlock again. He's exploring the room he shares with Ratchet and notices what seems to be a third person either living there or visiting often. He can see stuff that's not his or Ratchets laying around. Also a lot of the photos he has are of him Ratchet and this other person.
Deadlock asks about it and Ratchet gets all flustered. They both had feelings for Rodimus but weren't sure if he felt the same way or if they both had feelings for Rodimus.
Deadlock pushes Ratchet to confess.
What Deadlock finds would probably be things like an abundance of fuel that has to be seasoned and cooked. Its an ingredient hab instead of a ready fuel hab. He knows he can’t cook worth slag and he knows Ratchet is too busy to cook daily like this.
So he figures there’s another bot living with them.
Even as Deadlock he wanted to conjunx Ratchet so he’s not surprised they’re conjunx and living together but what does surprise him is learning theres another thats always with them.
He feels like someone is missing when he wakes up and its just Ratchet with him.
When Ratchet tells him he’ll explain later and that he should rest, he keeps pushing it off until the two reach their hab and he sees the fuel. Sees things like art work he knows neither could create, along with lots of photos of a beautiful red mech with greats hips and a big chassis in photos with them.
He asks Ratchet about the mech and Ratchet’s response makes something tick in his spark and processor.
“He’s a really close friend of yours and he’s become a pretty close friend of mine too. His name is Rodimus,” Ratchet vaguely explains not looking Deadlock in the optics long enough for it to be the whole truth.
“And.”
“What do you mean and?”
“He’s more to us than that.”
He states it plainly, having no time for beating around the bush. He was already beaten up enough to need minor surgery on his internals he didn’t want to add anymore inconveniences, not even pertaining emotional matters.
“He’s just a friend,” Ratchet sighs looking in the kitchen for something to eat for the both of them. There’s three rows full of different fuels already made that just need to be heated up. Ratchet gives off the hint of a smile that reaches his optics and lights up his spark. Deadlock shifts a tad and sees the note attached to the fuel but can’t read it once its gripped in Ratchets servo as he pulls out fuel.
He raises an optic ridge at the doc who pointedly ignores his unspoken question.
Thats fine.
He could play this game.
Early morning comes and Deadlock wakes to the sound of pede steps that sound familiar but are foreign all the same and he curses getting knocked out by the slimy creature on the supposed desolate planet.
“Don’t even think about it kid, he’s still recharging so I can administer yer meds. Now hold still.”
That sounded interesting enough and he had nothing better to do. So with a quick set of motions Deadlock was quietly standing in the doorway to the living den where Ratchet was holding a syringe that was glowing dimly with deep bright tones at the end.
“You don’t have to do this Ratch, I’ve been doing this for millions of years,” the mech smiled trying not to move. The cmo raised his dermas to a slight snarl and the mech quieted.
Shifting his helm as he let Ratchet inject him directly next to his spark he sees Deadlock watching them from the doorway with a fearful expression.
He gives a soft smile to the cyber kitten like mech and waits until Ratchet takes the needle out to reassure him.
“Its just spark medicine, no biggie,” he softly relays, standing on his pedes to go over to the fridge and grab one of the few metals he left here.
He grabs a soft zinc stick with sweet silver bits littered on it and takes a bite. He closes the fridge and turns only to jump at the mech being so close to him.
Large servos rest on his hip plating and he feels his spark haze.
“Dri-Deadlock?”
“You smell like me and the doc.”
He doesn’t back away when he says it. In fact he gets closer, finials twitching in the renowned cyber cat fashion he used to be so known for. Rodimus could feel his claws slipping out as they gently rubbed his sensitive biolights and that was his cue to escape Deadlocks grasp.
“I think i’ll head out now, thanks for my shot Ratchet. I’ll be on the bridge if you need me,” he gave a nervous smile as he moved to leave but Deadlock didn’t let him.
“I feel a lie on your glossa,” the smirk on his face plates was far too handsome to be fair and Rodimus looked to Ratchet for help.
“I need to get back to my hab,” Rodimus tried again but Deadlock still didn’t budge.
“Ah ah ah,” the mech purred, engine rumbling his frame as he twirled an imaginary tail, “this is your hab. After all, the spark medicine in the wash racks belongs to you and you’re the only Rodimus I see.”
The way he purred the captains designation left Rodimus weak in the knees and he was feeling his modesty panels slipping. His valve was growing hot and he knew this was definitely not the time nor place for this, especially since he was not their conjunx or partner.
“I..I spend a lot of time here but this isn’t my hab,” Rodimus spook truthfully, “you guys are conjunx,” Rodimus finally acknowledged, “i’m just a really cool third wheel,” he half joked, half somber.
“Third wheel?”
Deadlock was in disbelief at that but Rodimus was serious and looking at the doc nod on agreement he scowled.
“So I’ve become a coward as an autobot?”
“Huh?”
“And you doc? Just giving up? Still rolling over and taking it?”
Ratchet scowled fiercely at that but Deadlock was right. He never said a word of his feelings and neither did Drift. Always too busy dancing around the truth to even admit it aloud to themselves and each other.
“Whats going on?”
“Whats going on, flame princess, is that doc here and the valve sucker I’ve become are too scared to admit wanting you.”
“Say what?”
Rodimus had a dumbstruck look on his face plates that made Deadlock cock an optic ridge.
“Insecurity does not fit you princess.”
“Don’t call me princess,” Rodimus frowned.
“I’m callin it like I see it princess,” Deadlocks smirk was cut throat but Ratchet wasn’t letting him keep it for long.
“Oh really? So, since you’re callin it like ya see it, why not tell Rodimus here how much you really want him. If I’m remembering correctly we never said it but we sure did let our em fields.”
Deadlock grimaced at that and Rodimus was holding onto Deadlock like a lifeline until Ratchet came up to him and traced his cheek plating with a digit.
“We..we like ya kid, a lot, actually. We have for, we have for a long long time now.”
Ratchets optics were the softest he’d ever seen them.
He’s only ever looked at Drift with those optics but now, now he looked at Rodimus with those same optics and Rodimus couldn’t help but look back. Tears on the verge of dropping and spark on the brink of halting from shock.
“Before the war ended, when you came to check on us during our days on Cybertron and when we joined the Lost light. We’ve..we’ve loved you for a long time…”
“Even..even after..”
“Through everything,” Ratchet rested him helm agsinst Rodimus’s, leaving room for one more, “through everything,” he laid bare.
Claws retracted from his hips but the servos did not.
“We’re doing this now Ratty?”
“Drift!”
Rodimus hugged the both of them tightly making them smile.
He shifted to look at the both of them when Drift held his cheek in the palm of his servo, gazing into him trying to find his aura.
Rodimus let him have it.
And what he saw left Drift in tears.
“I didn’t think I could have you,” Rodimus mumbled, “so I was happy to have this. For as long as I could. Just being with you, that would be enough for me. But you…you both really?”
“I wish I’d been completely myself when we said it. But yeah Roddy. We love you. All of you.”
Resting their helms together didn’t feel hard.
It felt normal.
Like a thousand lifetimes had gone by with this exact moment happening on repeat. It warmed something within Rodimus spark and he slipped into them.
Em fields becoming one, all three stood in each others arms.
Drift couldn’t help but thank the other half of himself.
He doesn’t think they’d be here without him.
-
Idk how this turned out but I tried.

♡ My Looksmaxxing journey ♡
♡♡♡ Hi, everyone! ♡♡♡
I recently embarked on a personal journey to focus on enhancing my physical appearance. With ample free time during my summer break before the start of my final semester in August, I decided to dedicate myself to this endeavor. In this blog post, I'll share my three main areas of focus and the steps I've taken to achieve my goals.
Teeth: While my teeth aren't in terrible shape, I do have some spaces on my upper row and excessive gum display, which I wanted to address.
To address the spaces, I opted for braces ($142/month). Additionally, I plan to undergo a gum reduction procedure, as recommended by my orthodontist, to rectify the excessive gum display.
Skin: I began working on my skincare earlier this year but struggled to maintain consistency. However, I have now established a morning and night routine, along with some dermatologist-prescribed medication.
To improve my skin, I follow a routine that includes applying Spiroloctone (taken twice daily, $15 every 3 months) and Tretinoin (applied topically every other night, $10 every 3 months). In addition, I use Cerave cleanser, Cerave morning and night moisturizers, and a witch hazel toner for both my morning and night routines. To enhance the effectiveness, I incorporate Gua Sha and derma roller techniques in my morning routine and perform dry brushing before every shower. I also ensure to use body oil and lotion immediately after each shower, while using Dove for sensitive skin during my shower routine.
Hair: This year, I made the decision to stop relying on wigs and weaves and embrace my natural hair, which I believe suits me better.
To care for my hair, I follow a weekly routine that includes washing it with a cleansing shampoo and hydrating conditioner. For styling, I opt for a Wash n' Go method, applying a botanical gel layered with a holding/alcohol-free gel. Additionally, I take MSM supplements to support hair growth ($10). To maintain its health, I deep condition my hair once a month.
Body: Though going to the gym has always been challenging for me due to discomfort in crowded spaces, I have found alternative ways to stay active.
Instead of traditional gym workouts, I prefer at-home Pilates routines and outdoor walks in the park, which allow me to prioritize my physical well-being while avoiding the discomfort of being watched or surrounded by large groups of people.
My journey towards looksmaxxing has been an empowering experience of self-improvement. By focusing on my teeth, skin, hair, and overall physical well-being, I am taking proactive steps towards enhancing my appearance and boosting my self-confidence. I'm excited to continue this journey and see the positive changes it brings.
Will try to update every month ♡

Clear skin and face care!
-derma planner (face shaving) this is completely optional but personally I love how smooth my face is after I do it so I do recommend!! Your face masks and facial products will soak into your face better too
-sheet masks, honestly these can be used daily but I usually just do it 2 times a week, use a cold jade roller on top of the face mask as it helps to sink the product into your face more
-clay masks, I rarely use these as they can dry your face and irritate it if you use them too frequently but of course everyone’s skin is different so it may be different for you, they absorb excess oil and remove dead skin
-gua sha, not everyone believes it works but using a cold gua sha in the morning definitely helps to de puff your face
-icing your face, it helps to brighten your face and tighten the skin, you could also just have a cold shower or bath
-Vaseline, this applies for any body part! I recommend applying Vaseline to your knuckles, elbows and knees, it can also help soften your feet and even smoothen your armpits! I love love LOVE Vaseline <3

The Consort and The Warlord Ch5
Summary: Megatron uses the All Spark to gain access to Cybertron and demands a peace treaty. An Autobot Consort is offered and Optimus is chosen. A Bonding Ceremony takes place and now Optimus has three vorn to figure out exactly what Megatron wants to do with Cybertron.
Pairing: Optimus Prime x Megatron
Continuity: Animated
Status: Ongoing
Optimus sat awkwardly on a rather comfortable chair aboard a small Decepticon ship. Beside him, close enough that he could touch him if he so much as shifted slightly, was Megatron who seemed more focused on the datapad in servo than anything else. Optimus glanced up at the large mech, noting how his optical ridge drew forward and how his derma formed a slight scowl and the very tip of a pointed fang poked out. And now he was very quickly looking away from the warlord because he should not be taking into account how handsome Megatron was. Especially since they'd be spending the entire cycle together.
It had been during their morning training, something that was now part of Optimus' daily schedul, that Megatron told them about a ceremony held by the Temple of Primus.
"We will be returning the All Spark to its resting place." Megatron explained. "Officially it is supposed to be done with Ultra Magnus and myself but the Priests still greatly dislike the Autobots and so they have agreed to allow you to represent them."
"M-me?" Optimus sputtered out while dodging a sword strike.
"They were impressed by you at the bonding ceremony so they chose you as the Autobot representative." Megatron said with a slight smirk. Honestly, the young prime had gone far beyond anything Megatron had hoped for in this bonding. Even his friends had gotten along well with the warframes.
"What don I have to do?" Optimus asked sheepishly.
"I do not know the details of the ceremony since these are usually kept a secret." Megatron admitted as he blocked a well timed blow to his helm. "To my understanding, we simply need to follow what the priests tell us."
Optimus had nodded at this but now he felt nervous all over again. When holding a ceremony, all luxuries and weapons were to be left behind. Which was why both of them had emptied their subspaces, no wax was applied to their plating and Megatron had even suggested cleaning their frames in simple solvent. Nothing Optimus honestly minded since he'd always preferred unscented or very lightly scented solvents. Though Megatron seemed to use whatever he could get as most of his solvents were random scents.
While they rode in a Decepticon ship, a member of the temple was escorting them to the temple itself. Aside from Megatron and Optimus, no outsiders were allowed to witness this ceremony and Optimus couldnt help but worry that he'd mess it up. It would be just like him to trip and fall, make a mistake, speak when he shouldn't. Honestly, he still can't believe that he made it through the bonding ceremony without messing anything up. His anxiety seemed to leak from his frame since Megatron stopped focusing on his datapad and turned to face Optimus.
"I can smell you thinking." Megatron stated with slight amusement in his tone.
Optimus shifted uncomfortably and glanced up at the warlord. "I don't like doing things I can't prepare for." He said quickly. "I know I'm going to mess up somehow."
"You performed the bonding ceremony perfectly, even without preparation." Megatron reminded him.
"I was so nervous about all of Cybertron watching me thay my voice box glitched." Optimus admitted.
"So thay was why you were so stiff." Megatron mused. "And hear I thought you were scared of me."
"I'm not!" Optimus sputtered. "You didn't- I mean you are intimidating but I wasn't scared of you!"
Megatron was surprised by the small outburst and how enthusiastically Optimus tried to reassure him that he was not scary. Optimus was also undeniably adorable with that earnest expression, browplates quirked up slightly and his pouty derma pressed together. Oh Megatron had to look away. They may be Bonded but Megatron had zero intention of forcing this little autobot to do anything he wasn't comfortable with. He had even refrained from touching Optimus outside of training, though he found himself holding back slightly. Especially since Hook had informed him that he'd dented Optimus' plating once simply by scruffing him.
Civilians really were far more fragile than warframes, even if this specific civillian could handle rougher treatment. Optimus was getting better every cycle they trained and Megatron couldn't remember the last time he'd fought with such a promising mech. Soon he'd even be able to put up a proper fight. His engine revved slightly at this but he quickly quieted it when Optimus appeared startled. The little one had no idea what inner turmoil Megatron was going through.
The flight to the Temple of Primus remained quiet after that but a dense atmosphere filled it. Both mechs refused to look at each other though Optimus was more confused over Megatron’s reaction to his outburst, which was downright embarrassing, oh why did he do that!?
When they finally arrived at the Temple of Primus, Optimus was glad to finally get off of the ship. Megatron let him get off first and Optimus was caught off guard by what greeted them.
The room they were in was sizable by any standard but very plain. One wall was a set of docking doors which were now sealed shut and the other three were bare of anything aside from white paint thay looked like it had been cleaned daily. While the Decepticon ship was able to fit comfortably, Optimus couldn't help but wonder how it would get out of the hanger like room they were in. The only noticeable thing in the room was a large staircase that went underground, three priests lined on either side as the head priest from the bonding ceremony stood at the top. His servos were grasped before him and he was smiling. Like at the ceremony, his frame was stripped of anything unnecessary, painted white and marked with red paint.
"I welcome Lord Megatron and Consort Optimus Prime to the Temple of Primus." The highpriest stated, as he walked towards them. He held his servos up, palm facing them and Megatron placed his own servos to the High Priest's. When the high priest turned to Optimus, he mimicked the action though a bit unsure. Despite his hesitation, the high priest seemed happy as he stepped back and motioned to the stairs. "The Temple is this way, we will begin the ceremony once you have been cleaned."
Optimus glanced up at Megatron as they walked down the stairs, unsure if he was allowed to speak, he lifted his servos to mimic the gesture from earlier. Megatron took note and gave him a nod. "It is an old form of greeting." Megatron said, his voice low. The high priest glanced back at him but didn't seem to mind them speaking. "No one is sure where it originated from but it was popularized in Vos, especially amongst Seeker Trines. Eventually it was seen as the most respectful way of greeting. However, seeing as it was widely used by Warframes, the Council forbid it during the war and it eventually became a forgotten practice."
Optimus looked at his servos. He had found this form of greeting much nicer than the handshakes that were now used. "I think I prefer this over how we normally greet." He admitted. "I don't like when my servo gets squeezed."
"Most don't." Megatron agreed, flexing his own digits. Warframe or Civillian, their servos were not meant to be squeezed in such ways. It could easily get painful and even cause damage to the joints.
The High Priest stopped when the stairs became a large platform. There were more steps going down, low light illuminating them but the High Priest gestured towards one of the doors by the platform. "Before we hold the ceremony, we do require you both be cleansed. It is a simple solvent scrub that some Temple members will help with. Afterwards you will be painted with the ceremonial markings and then we will proceed down to the Temple itself."
Optimus hesitantly raised his servo and the High Priest gave him a nod to speak. "What exactly is the ceremony?" He asked. Oh he hoped his voice didn't break, he did not want to mess up in front of Primus. Or Megatron… but mostly Primus.
"Do not worry, while we do require absolute secrecy, the ceremony is much simpler than the bonding ceremony was." The High Priest assured him. "We just require that nothing about the ceremony leaves this place."
"Of course!" Optimus said quickly. Not like anybot he knew would be overly interested.
The room they entered had two temple members in it, a small femme and a large mech who was almost the size of a warframe. Their plating was simple but instead of the red markings of the Priests, their markings were a blue shade. They both bowed respectfully but it was the small femme who spoke up.
"Welcome, Lord Megatron and Consort Optimus Prime, we will be preparing you for the ceremony. If you'll come this way, we can begin with the solvent scrub!" She spoke in a bright and cheery voice as she gestured to an area of the room that had tiled flooring and a small ledge. A rack against the wall held two bottles of solvent, two scrubs and towels. A shower head hung loose from the wall and Optimus noticed a small drain in the tiles. There were no privacy walls but Optimus had gotten used to that from the Academy.
What he wasn't expecting was for the femme to grab the shower head and begin rinsing him off. Optimus stepped away from the sudden splash of water, bumping into Megatron as he did. "W-what are you doing?" Optimus asked, his servos up in defense.
"We will be scrubbing you clean!" The femme said with a smile. "Don't worry, we will be respectful!"
Megatron gently placed his servo on Optimus' shoulder pauldron, making the small mech look up at him. "It is a bit uncomfortable but it will be over quickly." He assured him and to his surprise, Optimus seemed to relax a bit and stepped back towards the femme.
The scrub down was awkward, and Optimus knew he was flushed with embarrassment but it wasn't completely unpleasant. The femme had been respectful and only scrubbed his plating, never touching joints or seams, and staying away from sensitive areas. The solvent they used was actually quite nice and Optimus couldn't help but lift his arm to his faceplate to sniff at it.
"Do you like the solvent?" The femme asked as she rinsed off his stabilizers.
"The smell is pleasant and not overpowering." Optimus noted.
"We make it ourselves using Brittle Thorns." The femme stated. "They give off a very soft scent and the texture of the solvent is wonderful!"
"I didn't think Brittle Thorns could be worked with." Optimus said. "There isn't even a greasy texture either."
"I didn't think you were one to care about solvents." Megatron noted. Unlike Optimus, he was still being scrubbed due to his larger frame. The large mech working on him continued to remain silent, focusing on his work.
"I'm not obsessed with them but anybot would have a preference when it comes to them." Optimus said. "Cheap ones smell like soap and leave a gross film on your plating but a lot of scented ones are too potent for my taste."
"I can never see any difference." Megatron stated, glancing at his shoulder pauldron that was dripping water. The smell was less noticeable than what Starscream wore at times.
"Maybe that's because you big guys don't have as sensitive plating as we do." The femme chimed in. "It's probably a different sensory net level, we have more sensitive plating but yours has higher density."
"So civillians spend so much time focusing on solvents because they actually enjoy them." Megatron contemplated with a hum.
"Not just solvents, mesh fabrics and bedding too." The femme explained. "I mean you can get a decent enough recharge on a metal berth but there is nothing like a decent padding and mesh covering to make it even better!"
"I understand that." Optimus said with a grin. "When my friends and I were cadets, we got a chance to go to the upper caste market and found a store specializing in organic mesh. We found a massive covering that was the softest I've ever touched!
"It costs three years worth of my tuition for just one of them." Optimus continued. "That store owner kicked us out so quickly when he realized we weren't upper caste."
The femme laughed as she led Optimus to the painting area after he and Megatron had been thoroughly dried off. "I bet he did!" She said.
"Though I thought those on the Temple didn't live in luxury." Optimus stated. He held still as a skillful brush was traced over his chassis.
"We live comfortably." The femme explained. "We don't have anything unnecessary but we don't starve ourselves either. The Brittle Thorns are an abundant resource and it was by chance that the solvents made from it are so good."
"That makes sense." Optimus pondered. These bots actually seemed more well off than a lot of Cybertron at the moment in all honesty. He didn't like that. Glancing down at his chassis, Optimus noted the strange glyphs that were scribed onto him. "What language is this?"
"Ancient Cybertronian." Megatron replied. "It is a language thought to have been long lost even before the Golden Era."
"We preserve it here in the temple." The femme explained. "The Head Priest is really old and teaches it to those who want to become a Priest. The test to pass involves translating old scripts and is really difficult."
"I am surprised to see that it is still being used." Megateon noted. "I had thought the Council would have purged such a thing long ago."
"The Temple of Primus has always had a strong influence so the Council always had to tread lightly with us." The femme explained. "We may not have an army, but most Cybertronians believe in Primus to some degree so going against us would he like going against against Creator, even the Council won't do that. Even so, the ever stagnat society that the Council created has finally started to move. I just hope that some old traditions stay."
She gave them a smile but it seemed rather sad to Optimus. He began to wonder, just how much of their culture and history had been buried over the millions of solar cycles that the Council had been in place. The large and silent mech got the attention of the small femme and made a motion with his servos. She nodded and placed her servos on her hips.
"Well enough of that, it's time for for ceremony!" The femme said. "Just walk out the doors and the Head Priest will show you the rest of the way!"
The Head Priest was in fact waiting for them at the top of the steps. The other priests stood to the sides as they had before and Optimus wondered if they had spent the entire time like this. Nervousness swelled in his tanks as he once again realized just how important this ceremony was.
"Thank you for your patience, I will now explain what you must do." The high priest said. "The bottom of these stairs leads to a shrine where the All Spark is to be placed. You two will carry the All Spark to the pedestal at the center and then return. You may not speak and you may not look back until the ceremony is complete."
Optimus and Megatron nodded their helms in understanding. The High Priest smiled at this and led down the stairs. Like the previous set, these continued straight down and seemed to be endless. Even in the dull illumination, they appeared bottomless and as they continued to descend, Optimus wondered if he'd have the energy to climb when this is all over. Down they continued until finally an opening was came into view.
Stepping out of the stairway, Optimus was greeted by a massive room with high ceilings that disappeared into darkness. A large platform stood in the center and a soft green glow emanated from it. The platform floated in the center, the pit below as deep as it was high and Optimus truly wondered who made such a place as it was completely mechmade. In the center of the platform stood a pedestal and the pathway to it was lined in pillars that stood high above. As they stepped closer, Optimus noted that intricate patterns were carved into the pillars and floors, so finely detailed that it seemed impossible for even the smallest of minicons to sculpt. Megatron seemed equally enraptured by the detail of this place that he bumped into Optimus slightly, silently apologizing as he put a servos behind him to steady the much smaller bot.
The High Priest stopped at a long pedestal that stood at the entrance to the platform. With his back struts to them, he raised a hand and a blue glow illuminated the box. Optimus had to squint his optics to not be blinded by the light but he did his best to not cover them with his servos. As the High Priest stood to the side, an orange box with intricate carvings and a handle on either side was now on the long pedestal. An energy pulsed through the box, an energy that sent an almost giddiness through Optimus. Electricity crackled in his digit tips and there was no denying what this was.
This was the All Spark.
This was their source of life.
The High Priest gestured for them to step up to the platform. Optimus hesitated, but a gentle touch to his back struts had him looking at Megatron. The warlord gave him a slight nod in encouragement and the two mechs moved forward. Walking around the long pedestal, they each lifted a side of the All Spark with a single servos and began to walk down the platform. The All Spark felt heavy but weightless and Optimus felt his processor empty of all worries or fears.
Optimus found himself facing the stairway that they had come down. Megatron stood beside him, both with empty servos. They looked down at each other, confusion clearly expressed as the High Priest clapped twice.
"Well done. The All Spark has been returned to our planet." He spoke, gesturing behind them. "Look."
Both mechs turned around to see that the walls of the room now pulsed with a blue light. A soft hum seemed to emanate from the depths of the room and Optimus couldn't help but think that the room was alive. The High Priest stepped closer to them, seeing their aw.
"Typically the task of returning the All Spark should have been left to myself and two priests." He spoke carefully, only speaking again when Optimus and Megatron focused on him. "I allowed you to take part in this ceremony as a show of good faith, I hope you do not tarnish it."
With those words, he turned around and began to ascend the large staircase.
Optimus was honestly exhausted after the cycles activities. The special paint had been cleaned off once they came back from the temple. They were given plain energon to drink and then a temple member flew them back to Kaon. Now Optimus sat in his chair, lounging lazily as he felt like weights were stuck to his stabilizers. He let out an ex-vent as Hadeen began to set.
"Optimus," Megatron said, instantly getting the younger mech's attention. "Would you be interested in dining with me tonight?"
Optimus perked up slightly at the question. They generally had their morning fuel together but night fuels were often done on their own time. In Autobot society, it was considered a romantic gesture to ask someone to dine with them at night. He wondered if Megatron knew this… even if he didn't, it would be rude to reject him. They are technically Bonded too so it's not like it would be weird to dine together at night.
"I would be interested." Optimus finally managed to say. This seemed to make Megatron happy.
"I will make a reservation." He said, already making a call.
"A reservation? Where?" Optimus asked.
They were in Kaon, not Iacon or even Polyhex. This wasn't a city where you could just go out and fuel at a nice shop. At least it hadn't been when Optimus had first come to the city. Kaon had resembled a warzone the last time Optimus had toured it, how could it be fixed up in half a vorn?
"We have two bars in the tower, one for the more rowdy drinkers and then a much nicer one with private rooms. We will be going to the nicer one." Megatron explained. He had already made their reservations with a beautiful view of the two moons.
"Aren't bars too… inappropriate for a government tower?" Optimus asked.
Megatron rubbed his chinplate in contemplation. "I can see why it might seem inappropriate for such places but given thay most of Kaon is still uninhabitable, I believed that the tower would be the best place for business." He explained. "Most of our working force currently resides in the tower and so having access to bars and other entertainment is more beneficial when it is close by. Of course when the streets are built up, we will offer them a chance to relocate or even let them stay if they chose too."
"You really put a lot of thought into this tower." Optimus stayed in surprise.
"It is collective efforts of my mechs." Megatron stated. "If we don't have solid ground to get our bearings, we will never be able to rebuild efficiently.
Optimus nodded at the statement which caused Megatron to smile. "Now I believe we have a reservation to get to." The warlord stated, offering the joint of his arm to Optimus.
The young prime took it with slight hesitation, worried about the awkward height difference between them. In the end, he was more of holding onto Megatron’s arm with his servos than anything else.
The bar Megatron had reserved for them was near the first floor. The elevator opened straight into it and the mood of the room changed drastically. The wide open space was filled with booths and tables, well large enough to fit warframes comfortably but the organic material of the furnishing showed thay it was high end. Very high end. Soft pink lighting illuminated the room as a soft melody played. A bar was near one of the walls, glass cubes sparkling in the artificial light and stars that came through the massive windows. It was honestly the fanciest place Optimus had ever been to.
A femme walked up to them, frame painted black and white with pink accents. Her blue optics smiled at them as she gestured towards a door that was practically hidden by Crystal floral.
"Welcome, Lord Megatron and Consort Optimus, I have the private room all set up for you." The femme stated.
She led them through the door and into a much nicer hallway than what Optimus had seen on other floors. Like the main room of the bar, the hallways was painted a dark color, possibly black but it appeared a dark pink under the lights. The floor was a dark tile and all of the doors had been painted to match. The hallway was a bit narrow, but Megatron could fit through it easily. Stopping at one of the doors, the femme opened it and gestured for them to enter. Megatron offered Optimus to step in first and as soon as he was inside, he stopped.
The small room had a single table with two seats, decorative crysyals and flora lined the room tastefully. A self serving bar shined brightly as a soft melody, different from what he heard in he main room, played. The entire far wall was a glass window and both of Cybertron's moons sat perfectly in the frame, like a picture.
Megatron offered Optimus a seat as he went to pour them both a drink. The bartender was back with energon goodies by this time and then she let them be. Offering Optimus a cube of a sweeter engex, the younger bot took it with a thank you. Megatron sat down across from him.
"I hope this place meets your expectations." Megatron said, offering his cube.
Optimus gently tapped his cube to Megatron’s and gave him a nod. "It passed it." He admits, taking a sip. It wasn't too strong and much smoother than what he was used to.
"Is the engex to your liking?" Megatron asked, optics on the tray of energon goodies. They had been given a variety of them to enjoy.
"It's much richer than what I'm used to." Optimus admitted."Though in all honesty, I'm more used to cheap bars where I can bottoms up."
"Do refrain from such behavior here." Megatron stated, a scowl on his face.
Optimus couldn't help but chuckle at this as he raised his cube. "Don't worry." He said, taking another drink. This certainly didn't have the burn he was used to but it was nice at the same time. Looking at the energon goodies, Optimus honestly had no idea what half of them were as he'd never seen them in the lower markets of Cybertron.
"These ones have a jellied center and these are good if you prefer something crunchy." Megatron offered, pointing to different treats respectfully.
Optimus carefully picked up the crunchy treat, it was a bit darker than normal energon, crystallized and smelt wonderful. He popped it into his intake and the flavor spread across his glossa. Optimus happily bit into the treat, savoring the flavor as it melted and licking his derma when he was done. He eyed another of the same treat but glanced up at Megatron to see if it was okay to take it. Megatron nodded, trying to hide his chuckle at the innocent expression Optimus wore behind his cube. It was like watching a sparkling try a treat for the first time. Maybe it was his first time…
"Have you never had energon treats?" Megatron asked. He picked up a softer one to savor himself.
"Only the upper castes can get these." Optimus admitted. "They're usually so expensive we can't afford them anyway."
Megatron frowned. "These treats can be made easily in a kitchen if you know how to." He said. Optimus had a rust stick halfway into his intake when he stared at Megatron with wide optics. Megatron let out an ex-vent and carefully moved a few more crunchier goodies towards Optimus. "It seems a lot of things need to be addressed aside from just laws and degrees."
Optimus was confused by the last part of what Megatron said, but he also couldn't help but enjoy the delicacies in front of him. When would he ever be able to eat these again once he returned to Iacon? Optimus frowned and lowered his helm, looking down at his servos. He couldn't get used to living here… he had to go back.
"How do you view our visit to the Temple of Primus?" Megatron asked, interrupting Optimus' thoughts.
Optimus looked up at Megatron and held his cube carefully, digits crossed as he spoke. "I was honestly surprised by everybot there." He admits. "Ultra Magnus has always had a level of dislike towards the Temple and our instructors never spoke well about them. I'd always been told that they were very strict and harsh on those that didn't follow their doctrine. But they really aren't that different from any other bot. They have their beliefs but they are still very kind.
"I'm starting to realize that even though I've been to the edges of Autobot space, my world has been very small." Optimus looked down at his energon as he spoke. He felt shame, shame at his ignorance, shame at the disdain he once held towards those that he had thought were so different from himself.
"Then I believe I should broaden your horizon." Megatron offered with the most genuine smile Optimus had ever seen on the warlord.
Two and a half vorn. Would he make it like this?

Achieving a Radiant Complexion: A Simple Nighttime Skincare Regimen
In our fast-paced lives, it's easy to overlook the significance of a proper nighttime skincare routine. However, dedicating a few minutes before bedtime can make a world of difference in achieving healthy, glowing skin. Let's delve into a straightforward nighttime skincare routine that will leave you feeling pampered and your skin revitalized!
Cleanse: The First Step to Radiance
The foundation of any effective skincare routine is cleansing. Before heading to bed, ensure your face is free from makeup, dirt, and pollutants that have accumulated throughout the day. Opt for a gentle cleanser suitable for your skin type. Gently massage it onto your face using circular motions, focusing on areas prone to oiliness or dryness. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water to preserve essential oils.
Recommendations:
Aprilskin Carrotene IPMP™ Hydromelt Cleansing Balm
JUNO & Co. Clean 10 Cleansing Balm 10 Ingredients Makeup Remover
La Roche-Posay Toleriane Purifying Foaming Facial Cleanser
Exfoliate: Unveiling a Fresh Canvas
Exfoliation is essential but limit it to 2-3 times a week to avoid overdoing it. A gentle exfoliant will remove dead skin cells, unclog pores, and enhance the absorption of your skincare products. Look for products with natural exfoliants like jojoba beads or alpha-hydroxy acids (AHAs).
Recommendations:
SkinMedica AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser
Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant - Exfoliator
Paulas Choice--SKIN PERFECTING 2% BHA Liquid Salicylic Acid Exfoliant
Tone: Balancing the pH
After cleansing and exfoliating, toning comes into play. A toner helps balance the skin's pH levels and prepares it for better absorption of serums and moisturizers. Choose alcohol-free toners with soothing ingredients like rose water, chamomile, or witch hazel.
Recommendations:
PCA SKIN Nutrient Face Toner
THAYERS Alcohol-Free, Hydrating Lavender Witch Hazel Facial Toner
SOME BY MI AHA BHA PHA 30 Days Miracle Toner
Serum: Targeted Treatments
Serums are packed with potent ingredients that target specific skin concerns. Whether it's fine lines, hyperpigmentation, or dehydration, serums offer a concentrated boost of active ingredients. Gently apply a small amount to your face and neck, letting the serum work its magic overnight.
Recommendations:
COSRX Snail Mucin 96% Power Repairing Essence
Paula's Choice CLINICAL 1% Retinol Treatment
Derma ProGenix Advanced Anti-Aging Skin Care Serum
Eye Cream: Soothing and Refreshing
The delicate skin around the eyes requires special attention. Apply a nourishing eye cream to help reduce puffiness, dark circles, and fine lines. Use your ring finger to dab a pea-sized amount around the orbital bone gently.
Recommendations:
IMAGE Skincare, VITAL C Hydrating Eye Recovery Gel
Dongyu 5% Caffeine Eye Serum and Under Eye Roller Cream
QOI Dark Circle Eliminator
Hydrate: Locking in Moisture
Moisturizing is crucial to keep your skin hydrated and plump. Select a night cream or moisturizer that suits your skin type, whether it's gel-based for oily skin or thicker for dry skin. Massage it into your skin using upward strokes to promote better circulation.
Recommendations:
COSRX Snail Mucin 92% Moisturizer
Dermalogica Intensive Moisture Balance
PCA SKIN Collagen Hydrator Night Cream
Lip Care: Soft and Supple Lips
Don't forget to show your lips some love! Apply a nourishing lip balm or treatment to keep your lips soft and supple throughout the night.
Recommendation:
LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask
Overnight Mask or Face Oil: Nourishing and Repairing
For an extra boost of nourishment, consider using an overnight mask or face oil. These products provide intense hydration and repair your skin as you sleep, waking up to a fresh and revitalized complexion.
Hands and Feet: Extending Skincare Love
If you have a few extra minutes, pamper your hands and feet as well. Moisturize them with a rich cream and put on cotton gloves and socks before sleep, allowing the products to deeply penetrate and hydrate the skin.
Recommendations:
Paula's Choice Radiance Renewal Night Mask
LANEIGE Water Sleeping Mask
Beauty Sleep: The Ultimate Secret
Finally, the most essential part of any nighttime skincare routine is a good night's sleep. Aim for 7-9 hours of uninterrupted rest to give your skin and body the time they need to repair and rejuvenate.
Remember, Consistency is Key!
The true magic of any skincare routine lies in consistency. Don't expect overnight miracles; instead, practice this easy nighttime skincare routine regularly and patiently, and you'll soon notice a radiant and healthy complexion that makes the effort entirely worthwhile.
So, go ahead and treat yourself to a little nightly skincare ritual – your skin will thank you for it!

Turning Back the Clock: My Experience with Derma ProGenix Advanced Anti-Aging Serum
For years, I watched the fine lines creep in around my eyes and the subtle loss of firmness in my jawline. While ageing is a natural part of life, I knew I wanted to find a way to embrace it gracefully. After some research, I decided to try Derma ProGenix Advanced Anti-Aging Skin Care Serum, and I'm thrilled I did!
A Potent Blend of Ingredients
The first thing that impressed me about Derma ProGenix was its focus on natural, yet effective ingredients. The formula boasts alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs) like lactic and citric acid, which gently exfoliate dead skin cells, promoting cell turnover and revealing a brighter, more even complexion. This process also helps other ingredients in the serum penetrate deeper for maximum results.
Derma ProGenix also incorporates Vitamins C and E, a powerful antioxidant duo. Vitamin C helps fight free radical damage, a major contributor to wrinkles and loss of elasticity. Vitamin E, a natural moisturizer, nourishes the skin and keeps it plump and hydrated. This combination is key to achieving a youthful, radiant glow.
Noticeable Improvements in Skin Texture and Tone
After incorporating Derma ProGenix into my daily skincare routine, I began to see a noticeable difference in my skin texture and tone. The AHAs worked wonders at gently buffing away dead skin cells, leaving my face feeling smooth and soft. My skin also appeared brighter, and the dark spots around my forehead seemed to fade slightly.
Perhaps the most remarkable change was the improvement in my fine lines. While Derma ProGenix isn't a miracle worker that erases wrinkles completely, it definitely softened their appearance. My skin felt firmer and more elastic, giving my face a more youthful contoured look.
A Gentle Yet Effective Formula
One of the things I truly appreciated about Derma ProGenix was its gentle formula. Many anti-aging products can be harsh and irritating, especially for those with sensitive skin. Thankfully, Derma ProGenix proved to be very comfortable to use. It absorbed quickly into my skin, leaving no greasy residue behind.
I found that applying the serum twice a day, once in the morning and again at night, yielded the best results. The convenient pump dispenser made it easy to control the amount of product I needed, ensuring a mess-free application each time.
A Worthy Investment in Your Skin's Future
Overall, I'm incredibly happy with the results I've achieved using Derma ProGenix Advanced Anti-Aging Skin Care Serum. It's a potent yet gentle formula that has visibly improved my skin texture, tone, and elasticity. While everyone's skin is different, I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a natural and effective way to combat the signs of ageing and achieve a more youthful appearance.
Derma ProGenix has become a staple in my skincare routine, and I believe it's a worthy investment in the future health and beauty of your skin.

The Science Behind a Skincare Routine: Nurturing Your Skin for Radiant Health
A proper skincare routine is essential for maintaining healthy, vibrant skin. But have you ever wondered about the scientific principles behind it? In this blog, we will explore the fascinating science behind a skincare routine, uncovering how each step contributes to the overall health and appearance of your skin.
Cleansing: The first step in any skincare routine is cleansing. Cleansers work by removing dirt, excess oil, and impurities from the skin's surface. The science behind cleansing lies in the use of surfactants, which are molecules that can attract both water and oil. These surfactants help lift away dirt and oil when mixed with water, ensuring a thorough cleanse without stripping the skin's natural moisture barrier.
Exfoliation: Exfoliating the skin is a vital step for achieving a smooth and radiant complexion. The science behind exfoliation involves the removal of dead skin cells, allowing fresh, healthy cells to surface. There are two main types of exfoliation: chemical and physical. Chemical exfoliants contain enzymes or acids that dissolve dead skin cells, while physical exfoliants utilize gentle abrasives to physically remove them. Regular exfoliation helps to improve skin texture, promote cell turnover, and enhance the absorption of subsequent skincare products.
Hydration and Moisturization: Hydrating and moisturizing the skin is crucial for maintaining its health and vitality. Hyaluronic acid, a natural molecule found in the skin, plays a key role in skin hydration. It has the ability to retain water and keep the skin plump and moisturized. Moisturizers also contain occlusive ingredients that form a protective barrier on the skin, reducing moisture loss and locking in hydration. By replenishing and retaining moisture, these products help improve skin elasticity, smoothness, and overall appearance.
Sun Protection: Sun protection is paramount for healthy skin, as exposure to harmful UV rays can lead to premature aging, sunburns, and an increased risk of skin cancer. The science behind sun protection lies in the use of broad-spectrum sunscreens that shield the skin from both UVA and UVB rays. These sunscreens contain organic or inorganic compounds that act as filters or blockers to prevent UV radiation from penetrating the skin. Regular and adequate sun protection is essential for maintaining the integrity and youthfulness of your skin.
A skincare routine is more than just a daily ritual—it is a science-backed approach to nurturing and maintaining healthy skin. Each step, from cleansing to sun protection, serves a specific purpose in supporting the skin's natural functions and addressing common concerns. By understanding the science behind a skincare routine, you can make informed decisions about the products you choose and optimize the overall health and appearance of your skin. So, embrace the science, customize your routine, and enjoy the benefits of radiant, glowing skin. Age-Defying Beauty: Skin Tightening Solutions for Every Skin Type
Skin tightening is a universal desire that transcends age, gender, and skin type. As we age, our skin inevitably loses some of its youthful elasticity, leading to sagging, wrinkles, and fine lines. However, the good news is that there are skin tightening solutions available to address the unique needs of every skin type. Whether you have dry, oily, sensitive, or combination skin, understanding the right approach is key to achieving the firmer and more youthful appearance you desire.
Dry Skin: Hydration and Nourishment
Individuals with dry skin often experience more pronounced signs of aging due to the skin's reduced ability to retain moisture. To tighten and rejuvenate dry skin:
Rich Moisturizers: Choose moisturizers with hydrating ingredients like hyaluronic acid, glycerin, and ceramides. These ingredients help lock in moisture and improve skin texture.
Nourishing Oils: Incorporate facial oils, such as argan oil or jojoba oil, into your skincare routine to replenish lost moisture and promote skin elasticity.
Collagen-Boosting Serums: Look for serums containing collagen-boosting ingredients like vitamin C, peptides, and retinol to enhance skin firmness.
Oily Skin: Balancing and Tightening
Oily skin can still experience sagging and loss of firmness. The key is to balance excess oil production while tightening the skin:
Oil-Free Moisturizers: Opt for lightweight, oil-free moisturizers to provide hydration without exacerbating oiliness.
Salicylic Acid: Incorporate products with salicylic acid to help control excess oil and improve skin texture.
Non-Comedogenic Products: Choose skincare products labeled as non-comedogenic to prevent clogged pores while addressing skin tightening concerns.
Sensitive Skin: Gentle Approaches
Sensitive skin requires extra care and gentle solutions to avoid irritation while achieving skin tightening:
Fragrance-Free Products: Use fragrance-free, hypoallergenic skincare products to reduce the risk of irritation.
Mild Exfoliation: Opt for gentle exfoliation methods, like enzyme masks or lactic acid, to promote skin renewal without causing redness.
Patch Testing: Before incorporating new products, patch test them to ensure they don't trigger adverse reactions.
Combination Skin: Targeted Care
Combination skin requires a balanced approach, addressing both oily and dry areas, to achieve skin tightening:
Zone-Specific Products: Use different products for the oily and dry areas of your face. For example, apply a lighter moisturizer on the oily zones and a richer one on the dry zones.
Spot Treatments: Target specific areas with skin tightening serums or treatments, focusing on the regions that need the most attention.
Balancing Masks: Consider using masks designed to balance combination skin, which often combines clay and hydrating ingredients.
Normal Skin: Maintenance and Prevention
While normal skin types may not have extreme concerns, maintaining skin elasticity is essential for long-term skin health:
Preventive Care: Implement a preventative approach by using sunscreen daily to protect against UV damage, which accelerates skin aging.
Collagen-Boosting Ingredients: Use products containing collagen-boosting ingredients like vitamin A, vitamin C, and peptides to maintain skin firmness.
Regular Skincare Routine: Stick to a consistent skincare routine that includes cleansing, moisturizing, and using targeted treatments for your specific skin tightening needs.
Mature Skin: Advanced Treatments
Mature skin often requires more advanced skin tightening solutions to address deeper wrinkles and sagging:
Retinoids: Incorporate prescription-strength retinoids or retinol products to stimulate collagen production and improve skin texture.
Professional Treatments: Consider non-invasive treatments like radiofrequency therapy or ultrasound therapy, which can provide noticeable skin tightening results.
Consult with Professionals: Schedule consultations with dermatologists or skincare experts to explore customized solutions, such as chemical peels or microdermabrasion.
